Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover in the first half-year of 2017 reached US$ 12.072 billion, an increase of 11.1% to the same period last year, the Statistics Committee said. The exports amounted to 5.969 billion dollars (+ 13.1%), imports - 6.102 billion dollars (+ 9.2%).

There is an overall foreign trade balance deficit of $ 132.7 million.  Uzbekistan has a positive balance with the CIS countries of $ 300.2 million and negative with other countries, - $ 432.9 million.

Uzbekistan's main foreign trade partners Among the CIS countries are Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, which account for 29.4% of foreign trade turnover. Among other countries are China, Turkey, Korea Republic, Germany, Afghanistan, Brazil, India, Iran, Latvia, Lithuania, France, USA, Switzerland, whose share is 43%.

  5. Korea Republic - 572.8 million (+ 13.5%), 4.7%
  6. Germany - 323.7 million (+ 23.2%), 2.7%
  7. Afghanistan - 289.4 million (+ 14.2%), 2.4%
  8. Brazil - 203.7 (+ 26.4%), 1.7%
  9. India - 166.5 million (-6.6%), 1.4%
  10. Iran - 166.3 million (-19%), 1.4%

In Uzbekistan's exports, services accounted for 27.9%, oil and petroleum products - 12.3%, chemical products and products - 7.5%, ferrous and non-ferrous metals- 6.1%, cotton fiber - 4,3%, machinery and equipment - 2,4% and other goods - 32,8%.

In the imports, machinery and equipment accounted for 37.2%, chemical products - 17.9%, food products - 11.1%, ferrous and non-ferrous metals - 9.9%, services - 6.9%, oil and petroleum products - 5 , 3% and other goods - 11.7%.
