Hot weather will persist across Uzbekistan through the weekend. According to Uzhydromet, hot conditions will continue nationwide on August 15 and 16. Daytime temperatures are expected to hover around 37-40 degrees Celsius, climbing to 41-43 degrees in parts of the south and desert regions. The heat will ease slightly on Sunday, with temperatures dropping by 2-3 degrees, though the change will be barely noticeable. Nighttime temperatures will mostly range from 21-26 degrees.

Skies will be partly cloudy over the weekend, with no rain expected. Wind speeds could pick up to 13-18 meters per second in some parts of the country, potentially bringing dust storms to certain areas.

In Tashkent city, skies will be mostly clear over the weekend, with no precipitation forecast. Nighttime temperatures will mainly range from 23-26 degrees, while daytime highs are expected to reach 38-40 degrees on Saturday and 36-38 degrees on Sunday. Winds will blow from the east at 3-8 meters per second, gusting up to 10-14 meters per second in places, with dust storms possible in some parts of the city.

Cooler air may move into Uzbekistan by the end of August, gradually bringing daytime temperatures down to a range of 25-30 degrees.
