On 15-16 March 2018, the European Union and the Republic of Uzbekistan held their 14th Subcommittee meeting on Justice and Home Affairs, Human Rights and related issues in Tashkent.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Samarkand province, the President’s press service said. Having visited the province in April and November 2017, the President set goals aimed at developing the province and construction of social facilities, and as part of the visit, the progress of implementation of these tasks will be analyzed with new tasks set.

A Memorandum on Cooperation (MoC) between the Uzbek Ministry of Defense and the UK Ministry of Defense was signed in Tashkent.
