The Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Uzbekistan on a state visit on October 18–19. The press service of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced a brief program of the visit.

Uzbek-Russian education forum will take place in Tashkent on October 18-19 at the initiative of the major universities of Uzbekistan and Russia.

The Ministry of Innovation and the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA) signed a memorandum on creation of the International Aral basin Innovation Center under the President of Uzbekistan.
