The Senate passed the Countering Extremism Bill at the 15th plenary session on Thursday. The bill is aimed at ensuring the security of an individual, society and the state, protecting the constitutional order, Uzbekistan’s territorial integrity, maintaining peace, interethnic and interreligious harmony.

By the decision of the Chilonzor district mayor Davron Khidoyatov, the metal fence around the building of the mayor’s office was dismantled on Tuesday.
