President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed Celebration of Eid al-Fitr Decree Monday in line with which June 15-17 are announced as the public holiday in Uzbekistan.

High level representatives of all five Central Asian (CA) countries, the European Union (EU), International Financial Institutions (IFIs), international and regional organizations, and NGOs gathered for the 8th meeting of the EU-CA Working Group on Environment and Climate Change (WGECC) on 7-8 June 2018 in Tashkent to discuss the progress in cooperation on environment, climate change and water. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mr Massimo Cozzone from Italy, the coordinating EU country for the process.

The delegation of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), led by Secretary-General Thomas Greminger is arriving today in Uzbekistan to attend in the International Conference on the Role of Youth in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism and Radicalization Leading to Terrorism, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
