President Shavkat Mirziyoyev by his May 23 decree "On measures to improve national policies in the sphere of employment and radically increase the effectiveness of labor authorities” converted the Ministry of Labor into Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations," Akhborot on Uzbekistan TV channel reported.

By the May 19 decision of the Cabinet of Ministers Abdugani Sanginov has been appointed as chairman of the newly created UzbekHydroEnergo, a source in the government said.
