The Minister of Preschool and School Education Hilola Umarova met with the winners of the El-Yurt Umidi (Nation’s Hope) Foundation studying in the UK at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London.
During the meeting, the minister provided information on the content of the president’s Measures to implement the President Talented Children Initiative Decree and new opportunities created for the youthe.
Bilateral meetings were also organized with partners operating in the field of education in the UK.
As part of the event, a bilateral cooperation agreement was signed with the VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas).
As per the agreement, the parties agreed to hire 500 UK teachers to Uzbekistan’s secondary schools.
