The Ambassador Alisher Tukhtayev met with the Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination of Pakistan, Senator Musadik Masood Malik Tuesday.
During the talks, the parties discussed the ways to advance bilateral cooperation in the climate change, environmental protection and restoration, green energy, rational water resource management, and sustainable development.
The minister Musadik Masood Malik proposed to set up a sister university ties between universities specializing in climate change and renewable energy with Uzbekistan, strengthening cooperation within the framework of Uzbekistan's Green Space and Expanding Green Pakistan programs, holding joint events aimed at raising public awareness, and strengthening environmental partnership.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue practical working contacts in all areas discussed and actively work on projects that serve the interests of both countries.
