During the state visit to Azerbaijan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev together with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the inauguration ceremony of the new building of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Baku, the Uzbek presidential press service said today.
The heads of state cut the symbolic ribbon and solemnly opened the new building of the diplomatic mission.
They toured the premises of the building, where the halls of the embassy are named after the provinces of Uzbekistan.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed naming one of the halls in honor of Karabakh as a symbol of friendship and solidarity between the peoples of the two countries.
