The president Mirziyoyev signed the Measures to implement the agreements reached during the high-level visit to Mongolia in the agricultural and food sectors Decree.
In the years 2025 and 2026 the Plant Quarantine and Protection Agency, together with the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be required to:
a) organize Made in Uzbekistan exhibition in major shopping centers of Mongolia and export agricultural goods from Uzbekistan and re-export them to other countries in the future;
b) organize stands of Uzbek goods at major shopping areas in Ulaanbaatar;
c) set upan Uzbekistan-Mongolia trading house;
d) organize business meetings by organizing a visit to Uzbekistan of a Mongolian business delegation.
The following proposals of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Uztokimachiliksanoat Association and the Ministry of Agriculture have been approved:
a) import before 2026, in centralized manner fine wool and cashmere from Mongolia through Uzsanoatexport JSC for the production of mixed yarn and fabric at the initial stage as a test at Uzbek textile factories. In this case, the Trade Development Company JSC will allocate funds to Uzsanoatexport JSC for these purposes in accordance with its order in the established manner;
b) organize before 2027 a wool processing enterprise for the processing of wool obtained from small horned animals imported from Mongolia, with the improvement of the qualifications of local specialists at Mongolian cashmere production and textile enterprises.
