The Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Afghan Interior Minister, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani Thursday.
The parties discussed the ways to expand bilateral cooperation in security and law enforcement, the Minister Saidov said on his official Telegram channel.
Reportedly, the discussions also centered on enhancing ties in the security, policing, and promoting regional stability.
“We acknowledged the efforts of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Interior in significantly improving the country’s security situation and combating drug production,” Saidov stressed.
Bakhtiyor Saidov also met with the Afghan Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, with both parties reiterating their commitment to regional connectivity, joint water resource management, economic cooperation, support in education, and the restoration of cultural heritage.
