The Cabinet of Ministers issued resolution improving social assistance using funds from the Youth Register, Women's Register, and Sakhovat va Kumak funds.
In accordance with the resolution, up to 50 BCUs (2.060 million soums) will be contributed from the Women's Register for the repair of each house. Women from low-income families will be reimbursed 50% of their rent for housing from the Women's Register fund, but no more than 2 BCUs (824 thousand soums), and in Tashkent, Nukus and provincial centers - up to 3 BCUs (1.236 million soums).
Grants passport for financing projects aimed at ensuring employment and social activity of women has also been approved. Social assistance worth of up to 60 BCUs (24.720 million soums) will be used to finance winner projects at the Best Social Projects contest.
