Today, a young man drowned on the beach in Tashkent’s New Uzbekistan Park, the UzNews news publication said. The 23-year-old guy was relaxing with an acquaintance in the Dream Coast recreation area in the New Uzbekistan Park in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district. At about 16:25, one of the beachgoers noticed that he was motionless in the water, with his head down in the water. The man swam up to him and pulled him out onto the shore.
Physicians at the recreation area were called to the scene. However, despite the medical assistance provided, the guy died. According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic expert, the cause of death was mechanical asphyxia caused by blockage of the airways with water.
Forensic experts examined the scene and took water samples for analysis. Currently, a pre-investigation probe is being conducted on this fact.
