Concerns about the Chikungunya virus, which is spreading in China, have spread on social networks. The Sanitary Epidemiological Service commented on the situation.
As experts said, the virus does not pose an epidemiological threat to Uzbeks, since Aedes aegypti or Aedes albopictus mosquitoes, which spread this disease, are not found in the natural conditions of Uzbekistan.
