Ticket vending machines will be installed at all stations of the Tashkent Subway, and counter operator jobs will be fully scrapped before 2026.
According to the Subway authorities, the number of counter positions is being reduced step by step. In particular, at phase I, 204 cashier positions were reduced based on adopted regulations.
The administration of the Tashkent subway will offer professional training courses based on their wishes and skills to all cashiers. The fees for these training courses will be fully covered by the Tashkent Subway.
