The Deputy Minister of Transport Jasurbek Choriev hosted Chan Man Hin, Deputy Chairman at JDB Group Limited stationed in the Special Administrative Region of China.
According to the Ministry of Transport, the parties discussed promising projects in the aviation sector with Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, and potential international partners.
In particular, they exchanged views on launching direct flights between Hong Kong and Uzbekistan and explored the possibilities of establishing regular passenger and cargo flights that would serve to develop logistics, tourism, and business ties. They proposed Hong Kong Airlines as the priority partner-operator in this process.
During the meeting, they reiterated the initiative to establish an international aviation academy in Uzbekistan , which will train pilots, technicians, flight attendants, ground staff, and aviation managers based on international standards (including FAA and IOSA).
