Uzbek companies and government bodies signed a number of deals with US companies. The following accords were signed after a round table discussion attended by the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick Thursday:

  • Agreement on cooperation in the production of rare earths between the Uzbek Ministry of Geology and the Denali Exploration Group;
  • Agreement on cooperation in the implementation of rare earth projects between the Uzbekistan Fund for Reconstruction and Development and Re Element Technologies;
  • Agreement on cooperation in modernization of pumping stations between the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade and Flowserve;
  • Agreement on introduction of modern water-saving technologies between the Ministry of Agriculture and Valmont Industries Inc.;
  • Agreement on expanding cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence between the Ministry of Digital Technologies and Palo Alto Networks;
  • Contract for sale of aircraft between Uzbekistan Airways and Boeing, which expands the firm order for Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft from 14 to 22 aircraft;
  • Contract for sale of soybeans and soybean meal between Datacrop (Uzbekistan) and Luis Dreyfus Company (USA);
  • Contract for sale of cotton between Uzsanoatexport and Cargill.

The US President Donald Trump on his Truth Social page commented on the above signings:

“I am thrilled to announce an incredible Trade and Economic Deal between the United States and Uzbekistan. Over the next three years, Uzbekistan will be purchasing and investing almost $35 Billion Dollars and, in the next 10 years, over $100 Billion Dollars, in key American Sectors, including Critical Minerals, Aviation, Automotive Parts, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Energy & Chemicals, Information Technology, and others. I want to thank Uzbekistan’s Highly Respected President, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. We look forward to a long and productive relationship between our Countries!”
