$750 million China Town Namangan residential and business district project was launched in New Namangan town of Davlatabad district of Namangan province Friday, the Namangan provincial governor’s office said.

Namangan province governor Shavkatjon Abdurazakov and the president of Jiangsu Tonke Real Estate, Yang Bo cut the symbolic ribbon and laid the first stone for the project.

According to the governor’s office, the district will include residential areas, business centers, hotels, shopping and entertainment venues.

In October, the provincial governor’s office announced that the 84-hectare China Town Namangan would later be integrated with other urban areas.

TK China Town Namangan was incorporated on January 9, with owner Yan Bo holding a 100% stake. He also holds stakes in China Mining, China Sunpower, GK-CN Hydropower, Haichuan International, Namangan Zamonaviy Uylari, China Park House, and Yiwu Trans Textile, all of which were registered in Uzbekistan at various times since 2017.
