Shavkat Mirziyoyev unveiled plans to erect business districts similar to Tashkent City in several districts of Tashkent. He announced this at a meeting on the capital's development.
These districts to be erected in Chilanzar, Yakkasaray, and Almazar districts are estimated at $2.5 billion. In particular, the $1 billion Uchtepa City project will house hotels, a business tower, a shopping and entertainment complex, and residential apartments on 37 hectares. All of this will cost.
Furthermore, the Uchtepa, Chilanzar, Yakkasaray, Shaykhantakhur, and Almazar districts will specialize in the service sector, creative economy, arts, and tourism.
The Mirzo Ulugbek, Yunusabad, Mirabad, and Yashnabad districts will host projects in AI, startups, fintech, finance, medicine, and education, with another billion dollars to be contributed to these ends.
