Building of the Ministry of Transport in Tashkent’s Shaykhantakhur district has been sold at an online auction for 187 billion soums, according to the website E-auksion.
The auction lasted one hour and 17 minutes and was won by Samarador LLC, bidding 70% more than the starting price of 110 billion soums.
This company was started in 2017 in Karakalpakstan and is fully owned by Bakhtiyor Makhkamov. He also has interests in Euroroads, Vision Soft, Cyber Soft Space, Nomadiary, Angelvest, and Euro-Road.
The Ministry of Transport building was emptied in August due to relocation, like other government bodies, to New Tashkent. Last summer, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that all executive bodies would gradually be relocated to New Tashkent.
