The newly appointed chairman of Uzbekneftegaz, Abdugani Sanginov sacked the directors of Termez, Jizzakh, Marokand, and Kuchlik oil depots, the company said in a statement.
As it was noted at a meeting today, the said directors had committed serious violations over the course of the year.
The meeting also stated that the priority of the oil depots should be providing the public with high-quality petroleum products and providing services based on the principles of honesty, integrity, and transparency.
In December 2025, Abdugani Sanginov replaced Bakhodir Sidikov as the chief of Uzbekneftegaz. The new chairman announced plans to promptly approve a new company transformation strategy.
He also announced a 100-day Shock Working to implement key changes in the company's management: separating strategic and operational functions, optimizing exploration spending, abandoning the "chasing of production volumes" and moving toward increasing the profitability of fields, reducing the debt burden, and digitalization.
