On January 20, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hosted the Uzbek government delegation including the Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, the State Security Service Chairman Bahodir Kurbanov, the Defense Minister Shukhrat Kholmukhamedov and the Interior Minister Aziz Toshpulatov. In the meeting were also present Turkish officials.

Bakhtiyor Saidov conveyed Shavkat Mirziyoyev's greetings to Erdoğan.

"Together with my colleagues had a great privilege to meet H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of Turkiye.”

“Delivered the warmest regards of H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan. As underscored, bilateral ties between our two nations have been showing very positive momentum creating most favorable conditions for enriching mutually beneficial cooperation.”

“The 4+4 meeting today is another testament of how our ties across different agencies of both governments are enhancing. Ministries of Foreign Affairs will continue deploying all their resources towards bringing to a life all the agreements reached between our Leaders," Saidov's Telegram post reads.
