The First Deputy Chairman of Tax Committee Mubin Mirzaev was fired. This was announced at today’s government meeting chaired by the president.

For information, Mubin Mirzaev, 55, graduated from Tashkent State University and the Tashkent Institute of Finance, and holds a master's degree from the National Institute of Political Studies of Japan. In 2006-2008, he headed the Department of Monetary Policy and Economic Analysis at the Central Bank.

In August 2017 Mubin Mirzaev, who had previously served as Deputy Minister of Finance, was appointed First Deputy Minister of Economy for Macroeconomic Policy, Development of Basic Industries, and Work with International Financial Institutions.

Since December 2018, he has been serving as First Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee.
