Humid air mass from Turkmenistan began to move into Uzbekistan on Friday, bringing precipitation (rain and snow) across the country, Uzhydromet said in a forecast.
Only Karakalpakstan, the Khorezm province, and parts of the Fergana Valley are expected to see no precipitation. Daytime temperatures will range from +4 to +7°C, with temperatures dropping to -2°C in the north.
Over the weekend, the influx of low-humidity and relatively warm air masses from Turkmenistan will intensify. Precipitation, primarily rain, is possible across Uzbekistan. The weather will remain dry in Karakalpakstan, the Khorezm province, and parts of the Fergana Valley.
Precipitation (rain and snow) is possible by Friday evening In Tashkent. East winds changing to westerly at 3-8 m/s. Temperatures will range from +3 to +5°C.
Light rain is possible on Saturday and Sunday. The air temperature will be: on January 31 at night -1…+1 degrees, during the day - +8…+10 degrees, on February 1 at night +3…+5 degrees, during the daytime - +12…+14 degrees.
