In line with amendments and addenda made to a number of regulations, national forestry bodies will be allowed to lease unused forest fund lands to individuals and legal entities through an electronic online auction.
The new procedure is aimed at ensuring the effective use of forest fund lands, attracting investments and stimulating doing business. Land shall be allocated through open and transparent e-auctions.
Thie amendments also provide for the possibility of suspending the validity of licenses (permits) for certain types of entrepreneurial activity for a period of more than 10 business days, but not more than 6 months. Previously, the validity of licenses was suspended for a period of more than 10 business days.
Furthermore, in line with the amendments to the Employment of the Population Law, the self-employed persons must voluntarily pay social tax in the amount of at least 1 BCU per month. Previously, this amount had to be no less than 50 percent of the BCU.
