The Cabinet of Ministers By its resolution made amendments to its Steps to further improve the procedure for transporting certain types of goods across the customs border Resolution.

Under the revised rules, individuals are now permitted to import up to 10 different types of biologically active dietary supplements (BAS) from abroad, provided they are in their original primary packaging and limited to one pack per item. Crucially, the total combined weight of these supplements must not exceed 3 kg.

Previously, the allowances for dietary supplements imported for personal use were determined by their physical form - whether liquid, powder, tablet, or otherwise.

The Customs Committee noted that under the old system, travelers were restricted to 100 units (tablets or capsules). However, in practice, many modern supplements are commercially packaged in quantities exceeding 100 units per bottle. These new amendments resolve that discrepancy, shifting the focus from individual pill counts to standardized packaging and weight limits to better reflect global retail realities.
