Regardless of their weekly work schedule, all workers will have May 27–31 off. In 2026, Eid al-Adha (Qurbon Hayiti) falls on Wednesday, May 27.
The decree designates May 28 and 29 (Thursday and Friday) as additional rest days for everyone, while May 30 (Saturday) is set as an extra day off specifically for those on a six-day workweek.
According to the calendar specifics established in the presidential decree signed on December 24, 2025, this means all workers will enjoy a five-day holiday break starting May 27.
As a result, everyone will have five days off in a row at the end of the month, no matter their standard work schedule:
- Wednesday, May 27 – Eid al-Adha (Qurbon Hayiti)
- Thursday, May 28 – Additional day off for all workers;
- Friday, May 29 – Additional day off for all workers;
- Saturday, May 30 – Extra day off for 6-day workers / Regular day off for 5-day workers;
- Sunday, May 31 – Regular day off for all workers.
