The XI Football World Cup for Orphanage Children was held in Warsaw, Poland, with the delegation from Uzbekistan capturing the championship title. The achievement was announced by the press service of the National Agency for Social Protection.
A total of 35 teams from various countries around the world competed in the tournament. Uzbekistan was represented by a team comprised entirely of youth from Orphanage No. 22 in Tashkent.
The Uzbek squad dominated the tournament, winning all seven of their matches to secure a spot in the finals. Maintaining their perfect run, the team triumphed in the decisive final match to become the absolute champions of the World Cup.
