Dry weather is expected across most provinces of Uzbekistan this weekend, Uzhydromet said in a weather update. The only exceptions will be parts of the Fergana Valley on June 6 and Karakalpakstan on June 7, where brief afternoon showers and thunderstorms are possible in some areas.
Air temperatures will gradually climb over the weekend, with daytime highs on Sunday reaching +34°C to +37°C.
Winds will blow at 7–12 m/s, gusting up to 13–18 m/s in some areas, potentially triggering blowing dust. On June 7, the northern parts of the country could experience wind gusts reaching 20–22 m/s.
In foothill and mountainous areas, localized short-lived showers and thunderstorms are anticipated, bringing a risk of flash floods and mudflows.
Tashkent will remain dry on both Saturday and Sunday. Daytime temperatures in the capital will range from +32°C to +34°C on Saturday, rising to +34°C to +36°C on Sunday.
Winds in the city will stay between 3–8 m/s, occasionally increasing to 10–12 m/s, which may cause localized blowing dust in certain neighborhoods.
