An explosion occurred at a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder-refilling station located in Karshi district of Kashkadarya province.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) press service, the incident took place today, June 8, at 1:50 PM, at a refilling facility in the Chaman neighborhood community network.
Rescue units were dispatched to the scene immediately upon receiving the emergency call. Preliminary reports indicate that emergency crews are currently working to contain and extinguish the fire triggered by the blast.
Official information regarding casualties, injuries, or the extent of the damage has not yet been released. The ministry stated that additional updates will be provided as the situation unfolds.
