From July 6 to 11, Uzbekistan can expect mostly light cloud cover with no precipitation, according to a report from Uzhydromet. Brief thunderstorms are possible only in isolated foothill and mountainous areas.
Reportedly, after the cool weather seen at the start of July, temperatures will begin returning to their usual summer range. Air temperatures will gradually climb, though they'll stay within levels typical for this time of year.
On Monday afternoon, temperatures will reach +34…+37°C, rising to +37…+40°C over the following days. In the northern and southern provinces, as well as in desert areas, daytime highs will hit +39…+42°C.
Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 m/s, occasionally strengthening to 15 m/s, with blowing dust expected in some areas.
In Tashkent, light cloud cover without precipitation will prevail from July 6 to 11. Winds will come from the east at 3–8 m/s, occasionally picking up to 10–12 m/s.
Daytime temperatures in the capital will reach +35…+38°C on Monday and Tuesday, climbing to +38…+40°C in the days that follow. Nighttime temperatures will range between +22…+25°C.
