A court has handed down a verdict in the case of a 9-year-old girl who had been subjected to years of sexual abuse by her stepfather, who was an employee at the "Inson" Social Services Center.
According to the court ruling, the defendant, A.A. has been found guilty of crimes under Paragraphs "c" and "d" of Part 2 of Article 167, as well as Part 4 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code (Forcible unnatural satisfaction of sexual desire) and een sentenced to 14 years and 5 months in prison.
Furthermore, the convict has been barred from holding official, managerial, or financially responsible positions within government agencies. He will serve his sentence in a general-regime penal colony.
