The simplification of visa procedures for Uzbek nationals traveling to Kuwait was discussed during a recent high-level meeting between officials from both nations. The two sides emphasized the importance of tightening cooperation between their respective relevant agencies to achieve this goal.

According to the Dunyo news agency, representatives from the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait met with Kuwait’s Assistant Foreign Minister, Tahani Al-Nasser.

During the dialogue, the officials exchanged views on further strengthening legal cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kuwait, alongside expanding mutual partnerships in criminal, civil, and commercial matters.

The parties also discussed broadening bilateral collaboration in air transport, smart cities, healthcare, trade, culture, and the arts, while focusing on transitioning existing agreements into practical stages of implementation.

Special attention was paid to streamlining the visa process for Uzbek citizens traveling to Kuwait. To improve visa guidelines and requirements in this area, the officials noted the necessity of fostering closer ties between the designated ministries of both countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides put forward a series of proposals and initiatives aimed at advancing their mutually beneficial partnership within the legal sphere.
