Uzbekistan is set for a week of hot weather, the Uzhydromet meteorological service has reported.
Daytime temperatures will range from 37 to 40 degrees Celsius, rising to 41-42 degrees in some areas on August 12-13. Nighttime temperatures will mostly hover between 21 and 26 degrees.
Skies across the country are expected to be mostly clear to partly cloudy, with no significant precipitation, though brief rain and thunderstorms are possible in the Tashkent region on Monday afternoon and in mountainous areas on certain days during the week.
Winds may pick up to 13-18 meters per second in the north, in desert areas and, on August 14, in parts of the country more broadly, with dust storms possible in some districts.

Nighttime temperatures in the capital will range from 23 to 26 degrees, with daytime highs of 37-40 degrees, reaching as high as 41 degrees on August 12-13. Winds will blow from the east at 3-8 meters per second.
