Contactless, chip, and other smart cards manufacturing factory with German technology is being planned to be built in Uzbekistan.

The Uzbekistan-Afghanistan border trade zone, set up at the Termiz Cargo export center, was inauguaretd today in the Termiz distrcit of the Surkhandarya province. The ceremony took place in the framework of the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan business forum, UzA said.

Georgian TBC Bank has bought the 51% stake in Inspired LLC, which owns the PayMe digital payment system in Uzbekistan for US$ 5.5 million, the bank said in a statement.
