In 8 months of 2020, Uzbekistan exported US$ 11.5 million worth of drugs to 11 countries, which is by four times to the last year, the Statistics Committee said in a report.

The main market was Kyrgyzstan, where US$ 3.4 million worth of Uzbek drugs were imported, followed by (US$2.1 million), Afghanistan (US$1.5 million), Turkmenistan (US$ 1.2 million) and Tajikistan (US$1.1 million).

During the same period, Uzbekistan reportedly reduced imports by US$6.8 to US $ 565.2 million.

India was the largest exporter, where Uzbekistan purchased US$102.9 million worth of drugs, from Russia - US$ 59.9 million, Ukraine - US$46.1 million, Latvia - US$46 million, China - US$34.1 million.
