The fourth round of hybrid political consultations between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom took place in Tashkent. The parties discussed the Uzbekistan-UK ties, cooperation within multilateral structures and exchange views on expanding the political-diplomatic dialogue, filling the general agenda with practical content.

The sides pointed to the importance of stepping up contacts between the businesses of the two countries within the framework of the Uzbekistan-British Council on Trade and Industry was.

A provisional agreement was reached on the development of joint investment projects in various fields, the expansion of the type of goods exported from Uzbekistan to Great Britain, and the increase in the volume of the two-way trade.

The UK officials expressed interest in establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of labor migration.

The parties confirmed that they are ready to expand cultural and humanitarian relations, deepen cooperation in the scientific field, and implement joint projects in the field of general, professional and higher education.

It was agreed to raise the level of political consultations to the level of dialogue at the level of deputy ministers of foreign affairs.
