Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has accepted the invitation of the India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will attend the online Voice of the Global South Summit.

The Summit, chaired by India, will also be attended by the heads of state and government of Bangladesh, Vietnam, Cambodia, Mongolia, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand and others, with total of delegations from 120 countries invited.

The agenda of the Summit, held under the Indian G20 Presidency, is to exchange views and develop concrete proposals for deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in order to promote the interests and solve urgent problems of developing countries, including in the economy, environment, energy and food security, health care, human resource development, innovation, tourism and other areas.
