Investigation Department of the Tashkent City Police Department arrested 10 more people on suspicion of criminal activity, the department's press service said.

Reportedly, they were brought in as suspects in a criminal case under Extortion on a particularly large scale charge.

List of detainees:

Mirsolikh Mirkhodjaev, 40, is suspected of committing crimes under Extortion on a large scale charge and Hooliganism committed by a group of persons charge;

Laziz Shomurodov, 28, - Extortion on an especially large scale charge and Hooliganism committed by a group of persons charge;

Sherzod Samiev, 43, - Extortion on an especially large scale charge and Hooliganism committed by a group of persons charge;

Akramjon Akramov, 32, - Extortion on an especially large scale charge;

Azizjon Aliyev, 37, - Extortion on an especially large scale charge;

Ravshan Bobonazarov, 28 - Extortion on an especially large scale charge;

Bekhruz Muminov, 28, - Extortion on an especially large scale charge;

Anvar Yuldashev, 37 - Hooliganism committed by a group of persons charge;

Dilshod Umirzokov, 35, - Hooliganism committed by a group of persons charge;

Sirojiddin Usmanov, 29, - Hooliganism committed by a group of persons charge.

Tashkent police arrests more people

These individuals were engaged in making illegal proceeds through threats and the use of force, the statement added.

The suspects are in custody, with investigation underway.

As previously reported, law enforcement agencies launched a major crackdown against crime groups in Tashkent.
