Former Agriculture Minister Aziz Voitov arrested - Tashkent Times

Former Minister of Agriculture was arrested as suspect of committing corruption crimes. Aziz Voitov, 43, graduated from the Tashkent Financial Institute with a major in Taxation (2001), and studied business management at the Higher School of Business (2010).

Aziz Voitov previously worked as chairman of SanoatQurilish Bank (Industrial and Construction Bank). In March 2020, he began working as First Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade (deputy to Sardor Umurzakov), and in August 2022 he was appointed to the post of Minister of Agriculture.
