Survey which studied number of children per household found that as of January-November 2023, there were 73.9 percent of households with children under the age of 16 in Uzbekistan.
According to the Statistics Agency, households with two children were the most numerous on 26.8 percent.
The figures for other households:
- households with one child – 21.6.percent;
- households with three children - 17.8 percent;
- households with four or more children - 7.7 percent.
While, 26.1 percent of households do not have children under 16 years of age.
