Drugs were found and seized from a resident of Jambay district in Samarkand province in an operation, UzA said. The search in the house and outbuildings in the yard of A.A., 40,, 31.8 kg of marijuana, 2 grams of opium and 2 tablets of a psychotropic drug.
In another operation in Samarkand province, R. A., 32, and B. M., 31, were arrested when selling 198 units of Zardex to a local resident.
Criminal cases have been launched against these persons under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, with investigation underway.
