Three young men in Fergana city insulted a woman who was filming cars moving on the street. According to the information service of the provincial police department, the incident took place on January 9, 2024 in Fergana city.
On that day, at 14:40, a quarrel broke out between this woman and taxi drivers on the Toshloq-Fergana route.
The drivers thrusted themselves on the woman and insulted her. Bystanders recorded the situation on video and shared it on social networks.
The woman appealed to the Fergana city police department and asked to take legal action against those who insulted her. Her complaint was reviewed and documents were issued against the offenders with the relevant article of the Criminal Code.
The Fergana city criminal court found the two men guilty under Petty hooliganism charge and ruled them each of them to pay 1 million 20 thousand soums, or 97 USD.
