Father-in-law stabbed his daughter-in-law to death In Kagan city, Bukhara province. According to the Supreme Court, a 68-year-old man of Russian ethnicity, originally from Tashkent province and living in the city of Kogon, Bukhara province, has been alcohol-addicted and often got into arguments with those around him.

On one such day, he also got into an argument with his daughter-in-law, with whom he lived with. The daughter-in-law pushed him and began to beat him with a broom. The drunk man took a kitchen knife to defend himself and threw himself at his daughter-in-law.

He stabbed his daughter-in-law in the abdomen and upper abdomen with the knife. The woman went outside and asked neighbors for help. Despite the emergency medical care and treatment provided to the victim, she died in the hospital.

The man pleaded guilty and asked for a fair ruling for himself, taking into account his remorse for his actions, his poor health, and the fact that he is a retired.

A case was opened against the accused under the Intentional murder charge of the Criminal Code and was sentenced to 7 years in prison by the Kagan City Criminal Court.
