The chairman of the Tax Committee Farrukh Pulatov and the director of the Anti-Corruption Agency Akmal Burkhanov today signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
The MoC will help enhance systematic efforts to prevent corruption, increase transparency in tax authorities, and implement modern internal control mechanisms.
The authorities have developed a system for declaring income and expenses for every State Tax Service employee. The draft is already being implemented in Navoi and Chirchik cities, after which it will be gradually rolled out nationwide.
The Tax Committee also vowed to expand the use of digital technologies, including AI, and consistently enhance openness and accountability.
