On 2 February 2017, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry were held talks with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic, Daniyar Sydykov.
According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed the practical aspects of the activities of the working groups of governmental delegations of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on delimitation and demarcation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state boundary pursuant to the respective orders of the Heads of states.
The sides also discussed other issues related to the upcoming Uzbek-Kyrgyz contacts at various levels.
