The Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov today had a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin, the press service of the Uzbek PM said.

The counterparts reportedly discussed a number of aspects of the bilateral trade and economic ties and exchanged views on the consistent implementation of joint measures to combat coronavirus infection.

The sides also discussed preparations for the second meeting of the joint commission at the level of heads of government.

The first meeting of the joint commission at the level of heads of government led by the PMs of the two countries was held in May 2019 in Khorezm province.
