Starting from February 20, the special republican anti-coronavirus commission has authorized the holding of international exhibitions and fairs in Uzbekistan in compliance with sanitary and epidemiological restrictions. Their holding must be necessarily agreed with the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Health, the Ministry said.

According to the established restrictions, the organizer is obliged to ensure control over the observance of epidemiological procedures at all stages of events with the involvement of employees of the sanitary and epidemiological services on a contractual basis.

All event attendees are required to wear a face shield or respirator. At the entrance, all visitors are required to go through the temperature measuring procedure, persons with fever or signs of infectious diseases shall not be allowed to events.

The width of passages between stands should be at least 3 meters. Ventilation systems at venues should ensure that supply air prevails over exhaust air.

The holding of mass events was suspended in Uzbekistan by the March 23, 2020 resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers. In recent months, a number of restrictions have been lifted.
