The Supreme Court of Uzbekistan, at an open session on August 25, chaired by Deputy Head of the Supreme Court Ikrom Muslimov, rehobilitated 115 people who were repressed in the 1920s-1930s, the press service of the Supreme Court reported.

In total, 6 criminal cases were considered, which were submitted to the Supreme Court on February 24. The list of victims of repressions was compiled by the republican working group formed by the decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoev dated October 8, 2020 "On additional measures to further study the heritage and perpetuate the memory of victims of repression.

There were no court rulings in the materials of the criminal cases considered by the Supreme Court. Most of them were sentenced to be shot or imprisoned in concentration camps by "troikas" of the OGPU (United State Political Administration) under the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR, the report said.

The Supreme Court upheld the protests submitted on 6 criminal cases to the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases by the Deputy Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan. All 115 people were rehobilitated in line with orticle 83 of the Criminal Procedure Code (“Grounds for Rehobilitation”).

List of rehobilitated

1. Criminal case against Nosirkhon Tura (Nasyrkhon Tura Said Kamalkhon Turaev) and others (92 people in total).

In accordance with an extract from the minutes of the extrajudicial meeting of the OGPU troika of October 27, 1930:

Mansurboy Shirgaziev, Mat Ibrohim Urunboev, Juraboy Qora Mir Iskhakov, Tokhtasun Boltaboev, Hamra Khoja Malla Khojaev, Abboskhon Qori Aziz Khojaev, Kholmirza Umurzoqov, Khodjiboy Abduboev, Akramkhon, Tura Malla Khojaev were sentenced to be shot as per the articles 78, 14−78 and 67 of the Criminal Code of the Uzbek SSR;

Abdujalil Mamatshaev, Mulla Fazil Bobomukhammadov, Mulla Nugman Qarimov, Mulla Sabit Tashmatov, Madat Boboqulov, Raimboy Urumboev, Mulla Usman Qori Dadaboev and Yuldashev Mulla Tajiboy were sentenced to 10 years in prison camps

Mulla Israil Sadykboev, Mama Zoqir Shukurboev, Mulla Turdy Ashirmatov, Abdukholil Abdurazoqov, Mukhammad Sadyk Makhmudboev and Allahon Abdulla Khojaev were imprisoned for 8 years in concentration camps;

Hasan Khon Nasyrkhon Turaev and Abdulla Qora Katta Sheikhov were imprisoned for 6 years in concentration camps;

Kurbonboi Yusupboev, Mulla Juraboy Bocheboev, Imam Ali Kasymboev, Mamed Ali Said Muratov, Akhmed Ali Said Muratov, Damullajon Abulkasymov, Mulla Alikhon Azizboev, Abdul Akhad Nishonboev, Saidulla Maksudov, Dada Khoja Appak Khojaev, Mat Ibrohim Boratboev Zikriya Khoja Akramkhonov and Abdukholyk Abdugafarov were imprisoned for 5 years in concentration camps;

Khoja Berdi Madaminov, Qarimboy Saidboev, Rahmatullah Abdul Vokhobov, Asqar Ali Abduvahobov, Abdurahman Tapildyboev, Muhamedshoh Kanoatshaev, Turaboy Qodirqulov, Hashimboy Hakimboev, Mamorasulov Turaboev, Ata Mirza Abdurahimov Mullah Abduqodir Mamad Qarimov Poyzyboy Usmanov, Saidboy Ustaboboev, Nuriddin Kora Asadulloev, Mulla Asqar Nazarmatov, Soyfiddin Qori Abdujalilov, Bohrom Maksudov, Inamdjon Qori Mukhamad Aminov, Abdullajon Qori Madraimov, Mulla Akhmad Ali Abdu Fattakhov, Boltaboy Urazaliev and Mulla Mumin Rustamov were imprisoned for 3 years in concentration camps;

Isakjon Aliboev, Isametdin Khodji Nurmamedov and Mulla Mamadjon Koraboev were imprisoned for 2 years in concentration camps;

Nur Mukhammad Ustaboboev, Borat Uzoqboev, Abdullajon Madali Khodjaev, Dada Mirza Abduvokhidov, Muetdinkhon Shaidkhon Khodjaev and Isanboy Urazboev were imprisoned for 1 year in concentration camps;

Khojikhon Mulla Qarimboev, Dadajon Abul Kasymov, Imamkhon Mumin Khodjoev, Bobo Mukhammad Dadajonov, Shukurboy Shir Aliyev, Abdulla Boi Mansurboev, Kholmamad Ustaboboev, Ilmiyamin Yusupboev, Uzoqboy and 78−14 The Criminal Code of the Uzbek SSR was released from prison, taking into account the time spent in prison before the meeting of the "troika".

2. Criminal case against Ibrohimbek Chaqaboev and others (16 people in total).

There is an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the OGPU dated April 13, 1932, but there is no verdict of the OGPU.

Ibrohim bek Chaqaboev, Abdukoyum Parvanachi Ulaev, Ishon Isakhon Mansurkhonov, Alimardon Datkho Mukhammadov, Sulaiman Salakhutdinov, Kur Ortyk Ashirov, Mulla Niyaz Parvanachi Khakimov, Mulla Akhmad Biy Sajimanov, Marka Khodajonov Kugan Kenjaev, Alat Palvan Ilmirzaev and Eshon Polvon Bohadur Zade were sentenced to death.

3. Criminal case against Teregulov Osman Igmatulovich and others (only 4 people).

By the decision of the commission on administrative expulsion of March 5, 1922, Teregulov Osman Igmatulovich, Yungerov Alexander Vasilyevich, Muratov Iskandar Iskhakovich and Gainulin Zagidlulla Gaiduloevich were found guilty under Article 60 of the Criminal Code, Teregulov was sentenced to imprisonment in a concentration camp for a period of 3 years, Yungerov. Muratov and Gainulin were released from responsibility, but deprived of the right to live in Turkistan, Bashkiria, Tatarstan and the republics of the Caucasus.

On November 18, 1922, Osman Teregulov, Alexander Vasilievich Yungerov, Iskandar Muratov and Iskhakovich and Gaynulin Zagidlulla Gayduloevich were sentenced to death by the Supreme Revolutionary Tribunal of the Extraordinary Session of the Khorezm Republic on November 18, 1922.

4. Criminal case against Daminov Latif.

By the decision of the field court of the military collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on October 15, 1938, he was sentenced to be shot with confiscation of property. A certificate dated October 15, 1938 states that the sentence was carried out.

5. Criminal case against Sultanov Gafur.

By the decision of the meeting of the "troika" under the plenipotentiary representative of the OGPU for Central Asia dated October 27, 1930 in accordance with Part 2 of Article 58 (armed uprising or invasion of the Soviet territory by armed bands for counterrevolutionary purposes) and Part 3 of Article 59 (intercourse for counterrevolutionary purposes with a foreign state ) Of the Criminal Code of the Uzbek SSR was found guilty and sentenced to death.

6. Criminal case against Kiramov Qivam.

By the decision of the military collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR of October 9, 1938, in accordance with Articles 58, 64 and 67 of the Criminal Code, he was sentenced to death with complete confiscation of property.
